| Children of Washington and Sarah | Washington Allemang and Sarah Calwell were married in 1860 in Champaign County, Illinois. Washington and Sarah had two or three children: Sarah, Joseph, and possibly, Franklin. The only record I have of Franklin is a document put on the internet by Sarah's second husband's family. I can't confirm it because they posted it anonymously. Their daughter, Sarah married at age 21 and died about a year later without having any children. Joseph married and had four children: Ross, Maudie, Ira, and Arnold. Joseph was the Justice of the Peace in Gas City, Kansas prior to his death from typhoid fever in 1901. |
