Funeral services were held Monday, June 22, from the Dresser chapel in Mora for Oscar E. Nordenstrom, 80, who died at General hospital in Minneapolis on Thursday, June 18. The Rev. Ronald Guderian officiated. Interment was in Oakwood cemetery. Oscar E. Nordenstrom, son of Martha and John Nordenstrom, was born Jan. 30, 1884, in Sweden. He came to this country in 1888. He resided in Henriette and in Mora and moved to Minneapolis 12 years ago. He was married to Vera Anderson in Mora, and they were the parents of four sons. Mrs. Nordenstrom died in 1951. He was also preceded in death by one sister and two brothers. He is survived by : four sons; 11 grandchildren; three great grandchildren; one sister, and three brothers. |
