Kris Stephen Nordenstrom died Sept. 7, 1993. He was 31 years old.

He was born on Sept. 13, 1961 to the family of Virgil and Viola Nordenstrom.

His first three years of life were spent in Fridley, Minn., after which the family moved to a house his father built on Skogman's Lake just east of Cambridge. That house was his home for the rest of his growing up years.

He attended Braham Covenant Church with his family and as a teenager became involved in Christian youth groups in the Braham and Cambridge area, most notably Young Life, where he became one of the leaders when his high school days were over.

It was also in his teenage years that he was introduced to what became both his hobby and business, namely, cameras and photography.

At high school, he was on the year book staff as a photographer and later joined the Cambridge Star, Isanti News and North Anoka American newspapers. When he moved to the Twin Cities, he worked for a time at the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association, and then began his career in camera and photography supply sales.

He also loved to draw caricatures and cartoon figures. He collected vintage comic books and old coins, and was a Laurel and Hardy buff, collecting all their old movies and, for a time, actively attending fan club meetings.

He was always an unselfish helper, freely giving of his time and talents. He was a loyal friend, and a good man.

He was preceded in death by his mother.

He is survived by many relatives and friends.

Funeral services were held on Monday, Sept. 13, 1993 at the Braham Ev. Convenant Church. The Reverend Daniel Brodin and the Reverend William Pencille officiated.

Interment was in the Oakwood Cemetery of Mora.

Arrangements were by Rock Randall Funeral Home of Braham.
