Mary (Mann) Allemang

Mrs. Mary Allemang, an aged resident of the town of Richwood, died at her home in Eagle Corners on Saturday, April 26th after a brief attack of pneumonia at the age of 72 years. Mary Mann was born Sept.51 [sic], 1830 at Clinton county, Ind. In 1849 she was married to Alvin Pippin, whose death occurred 12 years ago. In 1895 she was married to W. W. Allemang, who preceded her to the land unknown two years ago. She was the mother of six children, five of whom are living. The deceased was a faithful wife and devoted mother, and her earnest Christian life was a worthy example. The funeral services were conducted on Maonday, April 28th from the church at Eagle Corners, Rev. Thompson of Beach officiating. The remains were interred at Tavera beside those of her first husband.
