  PEORIA - Marion E. Loveless,
87, of Peoria, formerly of Fisher,
died at 8:15 a.m. Wednesday
(March 22, 1989) at St. Francis
Medical Center, Peoria.

  Funeral services will be at 11:30
a.m. Saturday at Wilton Mortuary,
Peoria, the Rev. John H. Stanley
officiating. Graveside services
will be at 1:30 p.m. Saturday in
Willowbrook Cemetery, Fisher.

  Visitation will be for one hour
before the funeral services at the
funeral home.

  Mr. Loveless was born Sept. 7,
1901, in Newcomb Township, a
son of Joseph C. and Lydia Lester
Loveless. He married Clara H.
Pickett on Sept. 14, 1926 at Fisher.
She survives.

  Also surviving is a brother of Newark, Ill.

  He was preceded in death by a
brother.

  Mr. Loveless was a parts super-
visor for International Harvester
at Peoria for 35 years and retired
in 1963. He graduated from Fisher
High School in 1922 and taught in
country schools in Champaign
County for one year. He later at-
tended Eureka College.

  He was a member of the First
United Methodist Church of Peo-
ria; Temple Lodge No. 46; the Scot-
tish Rite Bodies, Valley of Illinos;
the Mohammed Temple at Peoria;
and the Retired Master Masons
Club.

  Memorial contributions may be
made to the First United Method-
ist Church of Peoria.


Marion Loveless was the great-grandson of Lydia, Washington's sister.
