| Dr. Emery A. Hall, 89, a resident of 204 NE 2nd St., died Thursday, Oct. 26 at the Sundberg Nursing Home, Cambridge. Born March 3, 1883, the son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Arthur K. Hall, he came to Little Falls when he was very young and had lived in Little Falls most of his life. In January of 1972, Dr. Hall moved to Princeton and lived with his daughter, Mrs. Edythe Sweatman and then to Cambridge. Dr. Hall was a graduate of McKilly's Veternary Medical School in Chicago, April 14, 1911. He was a veternarian for many years in Little Falls before retiring, and was a great humanitarian, although he kept it anonymous. Survivors include two sons, Vance Hall, Sun Valley, Calif., and Maurice Dickson, Seaside, Calif.; three daughters, Mrs. Edythe Sweatman, Princeton, Mrs. Donald (Signe) Allemang, Dixon, Ill., and Mrs. E. J. (Laura) Smith, McGehee, Ark.; 27 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held Saturday, Oct. 28, at 1 p.m., at the First United Church with Rev. Marvin L. Ediger officiating and burial in Oakland Cemetery. Friends may call, after 6 p.m. Friday, at the Simonet Funeral Home in Little Falls. There will be reviewal in the church one hour before the service. The family prefers memorial to the Cancer Society. |
